Somebody Told Me

Some time in the past
somebody told me:

"At some point,
have you ever had this thought:
'reaching for my dream is so difficult,
I think it is better to stop and take a rest...' ?"

Oh, please. Don't be so spoiled.

Do you know there are things you will not be able to reach
even with outstretched hands;
there are things that will fade into distance once you let it go?
People are always seeking those, and before they know,
they lost.

So, live bravely,
do not hesitate,
chase the chance,
and keep moving on.
Thus, your dream will come true.
Although the pathway you take seems rough and labyrinthine,
all lead to the exact and the same point:
your dream.

Remember,
not everything that is faced can be changed
but nothing can be changed unless it is faced."

It opens my eyes, to keep moving forward I have to be brave.
Brave to take the risk,
brave to chase the chance,
brave to face failure,
brave to admit mistake,
brave to make amends,
and... brave to hope.
